Khulna: The Khulna City Unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a mass doa and munajat programme to seek the quick recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia, the former Prime Minister and the party's Chairperson. The event is scheduled to take place at Shaheed Hadis Park on Thursday at 10:30 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision to organize the prayer event was made during an emergency meeting held at the City BNP office on Sunday. The meeting was presided over by City BNP President Advocate Shafiqul Alam. Other notable attendees who addressed the meeting included General Secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin, Organising Secretary Masud Parvez Babu, and Hasanur Rashid Chowdhury Miraj.
