Khulna: The City Unit of BNP has unveiled a comprehensive three-day schedule to commemorate the ‘Jatiya Biplob and Sanghati Dibas’ (National Revolution and Solidarity Day) on November 7. This announcement was made at a city hotel following a joint preparedness meeting of BNP and its associate bodies. The session was chaired by the convener advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona, with Shafiqul Alam Tuhin, the member secretary of the city unit convening committee, detailing the upcoming events.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the outlined activities will commence with the hoisting of national and party flags atop all party offices throughout the city on the morning of November 7. This will be followed by a meeting and doa mahfil at the party office at 11 am. The following day, November 8, BNP plans to hold a gathering at Zia Hall square, followed by a rally starting from Shibbari intersection.
On November 9, a grand rally is scheduled to take place at Shaheed Hadis Park at noon, further marking the significanc
e of the day. This will be accompanied by a cultural program organized by JASAS. BNP’s associate bodies and all units will also engage in various activities, including discussions, cultural programs, and publishing supplements in newspapers, all aimed at celebrating the day across Khulna.
Several key figures, including join conveners of the city unit BNP S M Abdur Rahman, Kazi Mahmud Ali, Abul Kalam Zia, Badrul Anam Khan, Chowdhury Shafiqul Islam, Masud Parvez Babu, Sheikh Sadi, and Fakrul Alam, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of the planned events.
