Dhaka: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced today that Begum Khaleda Zia's health condition remains stable, with medical treatment proceeding under the careful supervision of doctors. Addressing the media this afternoon, Fakhrul emphasized the stability of Zia's condition and reassured that her treatment is being closely monitored by medical professionals.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fakhrul clarified that recent media reports regarding Khaleda Zia's health are inaccurate and urged the public not to be misled by such information. He appealed to party leaders, activists, and the general public to pray for the BNP Chairperson's quick recovery.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the BNP's Senior Joint Secretary General, confirmed that Khaleda Zia continues to receive care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Evercare Hospital. He cautioned against believing unverified claims and reiterated that expert doctors are dedicated to her treatment around the clock. Rizvi expressed hope for her full recovery through prayers.
