Dhaka: BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will contest from three constituencies in the upcoming 13th parliamentary election. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced this decision at a press conference at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan this evening.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the announcement included the names of 237 potential candidates representing the BNP for the next general election. Fakhrul stated that Begum Khaleda Zia will be contesting from the Dinajpur-3, Bogura-7, and Feni-1 constituencies.
