Dhaka: BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia has returned to her Gulshan residence, Firoza, following a health check-up at Evercare Hospital. The BNP Chairperson arrived at her residence around midnight last night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Khaleda Zia’s personal physician, Professor AZM Zahid Hossain, stated that her medical tests were completed based on the advice of the medical board. The board decided to continue her treatment at home, anticipating an improvement in her health condition with care in a familiar environment.
Khaleda Zia had earlier visited Evercare Hospital from her residence at approximately 6:50 pm on Wednesday. This visit followed her return to Bangladesh on May 6, after a four-month advanced treatment period in London. Upon her return to Dhaka, a medical board led by Professor Shahabuddin Talukder, a specialist at Evercare Hospital, has been overseeing her medical care at Firoza.
During her time in London, Khaleda Zia received treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors at the London Clinic.
