Khulna:A driver from the Khulna City Corporation (KCC) lost his life after being crushed by a garbage container truck at the KCC garage in the Power House area on Thursday morning.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the victim was identified as Abdus Salam, 48, son of Meser Ahmed from Khulna city. The incident took place around 11 a.m. when Abdus Salam was struck by a garbage container-carrying truck driven by Abdur Barek, while he was standing near another vehicle.
Witnesses reported that Salam became trapped between two vehicles as the garbage truck was being maneuvered out of the garage. He was rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending doctors.
