Khulna: Youths must continue striving to fulfill their dreams to drive the country’s transformation, said Khulna City Corporation Administrator Nazrul Islam Manju. He emphasized the importance of perseverance and struggle for achieving success, adding that politicians play a role in implementing these dreams. This statement was made during a discussion marking the anniversary of ‘Rongmohol for Youth’ in the city.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the organization focuses on issues like child protection, youth empowerment, and climate justice. The event titled ‘Community Change through the Voice of Youth’ saw Manju emphasizing the need for youth cooperation in building a safe and clean city, with plans being made to involve them in this process. He also highlighted the role of parental responsibility in preventing drug abuse, urging parents to keep a close eye on their children.
The discussion was chaired by the organization’s Founder President Md Alvi Sheikh, with welcome speeches delivered by General Secretary Mousumi Roy and Jabin Taskeen. Special guests included Citizens’ Forum General Secretary SM Iqbal Hasan Tuhin, Executive Director of Rupantar Swapan Guha, and teacher Rehena Isa. Rahima Khatun and Shimla Das shared personal stories of transformation at the event.
