Cumilla: Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has stated that the government plans to announce the July declaration on August 5, provided that political parties can reach a consensus. This statement was made during a view-exchange meeting organized for the inauguration of the new building of the Cumilla district Lawyers Association.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the government has already gathered suggestions from various political parties, who have submitted their versions of the declaration to the government. Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain emphasized that the government is actively working on the draft of the July declaration, aiming for its announcement on August 5, contingent upon achieving political agreement.
The adviser expressed optimism, saying, "We hope that the July declaration would be possible to read on August 5 after the political consensus." His comments came after participating as the chief guest at the view-exchange meeting with the Lawyers Association.
In addition to the meeting, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain also attended a program on 'Smritir Minar,' marking the first resistance day of student-people on July 11 at Cumilla University, held on Friday afternoon.
