Dhaka: Judicial activities in 49 benches of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court will begin from Sunday morning after the end of the vacation. Chief Justice Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed has constituted these benches with specific jurisdictions, and the details have been published on the Supreme Court’s website.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the 49 benches will consist of 28 dual benches and 21 single benches, each with specific jurisdictions. The Supreme Court went into vacation on June 3, and this period will continue until June 21. Despite the vacation, vacation benches in the High Court Division and a chamber court remained operational.
