Dhaka: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal has initiated a medical team aimed at delivering crucial health guidelines, as part of a nine-day initiative launched in various districts, metropolitan areas, and subordinate units, to boost dengue prevention awareness.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the formation of this medical team was directed by Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee President Abdul Moinam Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayon, MP. Vice-President of the Central Executive Committee, Dr. Lohani Mohammad Tajul Islam, has been designated as the coordinator of the team.
The medical team comprises experienced members including Dr. Jahangir Hossain, a former Assistant Health Affairs Secretary of the Central Executive Committee, Health Secretary Dr. Galib Hasan, Health Secretary Dr. Belal Hossain Nazim, Assistant Health Secretaries Dr. Mahmudul Hasan Khan Sumon and Dr. Al Mamun Hasan Khan Emil, and former Assistant Vice-President of Dhaka District Chhatra Dal Dr. Amirul Islam Pavel.
According to a press release, the medical team is tasked with providing urgent health guidelines to ensure the success of the seven-day programme. The initiative aims to elevate public awareness regarding dengue prevention across various regions.
