Jahangirnagar: The Jahangirnagar University unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) today organized a milad and doa mahfil at the central mosque of the university to mark the 80th birth anniversary of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, JCD central General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir attended the programme as the chief guest. Senior Vice-President Abu Afsan Mohammad Yahya, JU JCD Convener Jahir Uddin Babor, Member Secretary Wasim Ahmed Anik, along with other leaders and activists, were also present.
Prayers were offered for the long life, good health, and well-being of the former Prime Minister, as well as for the prosperity and welfare of the nation.
