Dhaka: The Jahangirnagar University Career Club (JUCC) has unveiled its newly formed executive committee for the forthcoming term during a program at the Zahir Raihan Auditorium's seminar room.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the announcement highlighted Intekhab Fardin Turjo from the Marketing Department as the newly elected president, with Abdullah Al Noman from the Economics Department taking the role of general secretary. The key positions within the committee feature Aminul Islam as vice president of administration and Shahar Sheetal as vice president of operations.
The committee's structure includes Abdullah Tahmid Tashin serving as assistant general secretary, Shafin Al Hasan as treasurer, and organizing secretaries Musaddiq Hossain, Rafia Afroze Raka, and Sadia Sarna. Saida Samia Ashraf Oishi has been appointed as the communication secretary, and Afia Anjum Prova will handle publication duties.
In terms of corporate affairs, Arpon Samaddar will manage external matters, while Sadat Noor will look after internal affairs. Atif Hossain is designated as the event management secretary. The Human Resource division will be led by Irtija Imroz for talent acquisition and A S M Mashrur Raihan Sakib for people engagement. IT responsibilities are divided between Nazmus Salehin Naeem (technical) and Maliha Nur Medha (creative). Mubasshira Mahbub will act as the learning and development secretary, with Abu Shama Jumayel as the education and development secretary.
The committee also includes executive members Nayla Binte Azad, Jerin Hasan Priya, Tashfia Rashid, Mahjabeen, Afroze Mishu, and Md. Abu Bakar Siddique. Additionally, coordinators have been appointed across different faculties and wings: Maeesha Jahin for business studies, Masrat Tasnim Prapti for arts, Gaurav Gop for science, Jerin Tasnim Promi for social sciences, Naimur Rahman Shipon for event management, Md. Golam Rabbi for HR, Jemimah Bose for corporate affairs, and Afia Tuz Zannat Orin for communication and publication.
The JU Career Club, established on February 6, 2014, was initiated by a group of ambitious students aiming to foster professional excellence within the campus community.
