Dhaka: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) -11 tonight confirmed that they are conducting a raid in Sarulia area under Demra Police Station to recover Sada Pathor or white stone allegedly looted from Bholaganj in Sylhet’s Companiganj upazila. Narayanganj district administration and the Department of Environment of Dhaka unit are also participating in the operation.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, RAB confirmed the matter through a text message. The raid is a coordinated effort to address the illegal extraction and transport of white stone, which has been a concern for both local authorities and environmental agencies. The operation aims to recover the looted materials and bring the perpetrators to justice.
