Narsingdi: Leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) in Palash upazila and Ghorashal town conducted a mass outreach campaign today to garner support for BNP Standing Committee Member and former minister Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan. He is the party's nominated candidate for the Narsingdi-2 (Palash) constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the campaign commenced at approximately 4:30 pm with a procession starting from the Palash Bus Stand. This initiative was a joint effort by the Palash Upazila Chhatra Dal and the Ghorashal City Chhatra Dal. The rally was spearheaded by Palash Upazila Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Papon and Ghorashal City Chhatra Dal Convener Amaanullah Amaan.
Activists proceeded to distribute leaflets in various local markets, encouraging voters to support the BNP's election symbol, the 'Sheaf of Paddy'. The procession traversed several main roads of the upazila before concluding in front of the Palash Upazila Health Complex.
During a brief roadside rally, Chhatra Dal leaders highlighted the growing enthusiasm among voters as the national election approaches. They expressed that the electorate is eager to exercise their voting rights and that electing Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan by voting for the 'Sheaf of Paddy' would be a step towards trustworthy leadership.
The speakers asserted that Dr. Moyeen Khan, recognized as a competent and well-educated leader, is poised to deliver comprehensive development in the Narsingdi-2 (Palash) constituency. They emphasized his potential to transform Palash upazila into a well-developed and vibrant region.
The campaign saw participation from various leaders, including presidents and general secretaries of different units of the Palash Upazila Chhatra Dal.
