Pirojpur:The district unit of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal organized a voluntary blood donation program and a free medical camp in Pirojpur today, marking the 48th founding anniversary of the organization. The event took place on the premises of Town Secondary School at 1000 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the program was presided over by District Jubo Dal Convener Maruf Hasan, with Joint Convener Tanzid Hasan moderating the proceedings. Also in attendance were District Jubo Dal Member Secretary Emdadul Haque Masud along with other leaders and members of the organization.
During the event, healthcare services were provided to around 100 people by Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mashiur Rahman and District Hospital Medical Officer Dr. Md Arif Hasan. Maruf Hasan highlighted that, along with celebrating the founding anniversary, the organization has initiated several public welfare activities, including healthcare services, cleanliness drives, and tree plantation programs.
