Dhaka: The first session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad resumed at 3:01pm today following the Eid holidays at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here with Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal in the chair. The day’s proceedings began with recitation from the Holy Quran.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, members of the parliament reconvened to continue their legislative duties after the festive break. The session highlighted the commitment of the parliamentarians to resume their roles promptly after the holiday period. The recitation from the Holy Quran marked the beginning of the day’s agenda, a traditional practice in the Jatiya Sangsad proceedings.
