Dhaka:Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and Leader of the Opposition Dr. Shafiqur Rahman emphasized that no single individual or political party should claim exclusive credit for the Liberation War, advocating for the recognition of all contributors to the country's independence.

Furthermore, Shafiqur pointed out that the leadership and contributions during the Liberation War should not be claimed as the exclusive domain of any one party or individual. He urged for an objective assessment of historical events post-independence, free from partisan rivalry over historical legacy.
In addition to Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, and Dhaka north unit Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin also addressed the attendees at the event.
