Jamaat Delegation Engages in Cordial Meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State

Dhaka: A delegation from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami met with US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Paul Kapur, in a courtesy meeting held in the capital. The meeting took place at the residence of the US Ambassador in Dhaka, creating a cordial and friendly atmosphere, as stated in a press release.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Jamaat delegation was led by the party’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, MP. The delegation also included Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Central Executive Council Member Saiful Alam Khan, Foreign Affairs Consultant of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, and Special Adviser on Foreign Affairs to the Jamaat Ameer Barrister Mir Ahmed Bin Kasem.



The meeting signifies ongoing diplomatic engagements between the political party and international representatives, focusing on fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
