Savar: The alumni of the Information and Communication Technology department of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia organized an iftar party at The Lounge 95 restaurant in Savar, bringing together former students in a moment of reflection and community.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was chaired by Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain, the department's chairman. Notable attendees included Professor Dr Paresh Chandra Barman, the director of IU's central laboratory, along with Professor Dr Zahidul Islam, Professor Dr Shariful Islam, Professor Dr Tarek Hasan Al Mahmud, and Assistant Professor Jashim Uddin.
More than fifty alumni from various sessions attended the iftar party, breaking their fast in a nostalgic atmosphere. The gathering also featured a discussion on the upcoming silver jubilee and reunion of the department, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and anticipation among the participants.
