An employee of Islamic Foundation Bangladesh was strangulated to death allegedly by her wife in Najirpara area of Chattogram city early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Mannan, 55, model caretaker of Fatikchhari upazila unit of Islamic Foundation and a resident Buripukur par area under the upazila.

Nazim Uddin Majumdar, officer-in-charge of Panchlaish police station, said wife Khodeza Begum along with their children strangled Mannan to death over a family feud at their house in the Nazjipara area around 2am.
“We have detained his wife who preliminary confessed to the killing,”the OC said.

A case will be filed in connection with the murder, the police officer added.
