Dhaka: Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has announced an exciting opportunity for its remittance clients, with a chance to win a motorcycle through a digital raffle draw for sending cash remittance via Ria Money Transfer. The raffle draw will occur every banking day from Sunday to Thursday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, this offer is a part of Islami Bank's initiative to encourage remittance transactions during the Holy Ramadan period, running from 19 February to 18 March, 2026. In addition to the raffle, remittance recipients will receive a key ring as a common gift. The initiative, dubbed the Islami Bank-Ria Money Transfer Remittance Fiesta, was inaugurated by Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of Islami Bank, at an event held at Islami Bank Tower.
Dr. Emil Ruban, Managing Director and Senior Regional Director of India and South Asia for Ria Money Transfer, attended the event as the guest of honor. Other notable attendees included Md. Altaf Hossain, Engr. Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, and Dr. M Kamal Uddin Jasim, who are Additional Managing Directors. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director, presided over the program, with Rashedul Islam Talukder, Country Manager of Ria Money Transfer, Bangladesh, and Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, head of overseas banking, also participating in the event.
