Dhaka: Iran has called upon the international community, including the UN and Islamic countries, to respond quickly against Israeli aggression to its territory.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a press release issued by the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka emphasized the need for a swift and effective response from the international community, particularly highlighting the roles of the United Nations and Islamic countries. The statement described the actions as a serious threat to international peace and security.

The press release accused Israel, referred to as the “occupying Zionist regime,” of committing acts of aggression that resulted in the deaths of Iranian armed forces commanders, scientists, and civilians, including women and children. The statement expressed Tehran’s deep sadness over these acts.

The Iranian Embassy highlighted that such aggression violates Articles 2 and 4 of the United Nations Charter, constituting direct military aggression against Iran’s sovereignty. The statement further invoked Article 51 of the UN Charter, asserting Iran’s right to respond and defend itself.

“The full responsibility for the consequences of this aggression lies squarely with the Zionist occupying regime,” the statement concluded.
