Rajshahi: BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has firmly stated that any international conspiracy can never suppress Bangladesh. He made these remarks while addressing a meeting organized to mark the unveiling of a book titled "Historic 7th November 1975 National Revolution and Solidarity Day Mahanayak Ziaur Rahman" as the chief guest. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was organized by the Rajshahi University (RU) unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and took place on the RU Shaheed Intellectual premises. Former VP of RUCSU Rizvi criticized Sheikh Hasina, claiming she has been shedding "crocodile tears" since the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das. He further accused her government of orchestrating events resulting in the deaths of over 2,000 students and civilians, including individuals named Mugdho, Abu Sayeed, Raihan, and Nasim Anjum, allegedly to receive an award from India. Advocate Rizvi also mentioned that Chinmoy's arrest was conducted under the country's c onventional law. In a pointed remark, he questioned why the Indian foreign ministry issued a statement on this issue but remained silent on the killing of Biswajit by Chhatra League.
