International Anti-Corruption Day Observed with Rally and Discussion in Manikganj

Manikganj: The International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 was observed in Manikganj district with the theme “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity”. The day was marked by a colorful rally in the district town, featuring participation from government officials and people from different sectors of society.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, following the rally, a discussion took place in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner, presided over by Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana. The event was organized by the Manikganj District Administration, Anti Corruption Commission, and the Manikganj District Corruption Prevention Committee. Notable speakers included Additional SP Md. Salah Uddin, Assistant Director of the Anti Corruption Commission Arif Hossain, District Corruption Prevention Committee President Khabirul Alam Chowdhury, and its Secretary Prof Md. Intaj Uddin.



Other key figures addressing the function were ABM Samsunnabi Tulib, President of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh Manikganj District Committee, Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas, and General Secretary Shahanur Islam. The speakers emphasized the importance of raising voices against corruption and fostering awareness among the youth to combat this issue effectively.
