Dhaka: Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akthar today emphasized that the interim government is dedicated to fulfilling the aspirations of the people. “The interim government is working to create a good atmosphere to handover the charges to the people’s representatives. For this, some reforms will be needed,” she stated while addressing reporters after opening the inter-school science fair at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Bhasha Chattar in the district town.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the daylong science fair was jointly organized by the Bangladesh Freedom Foundation and ARD. Adviser Farida highlighted that the interim government is also focusing on rehabilitating the families of martyrs and individuals injured during the July-August upsurge.
The event was attended by several notable figures including Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Didarul Alam, Police Super Mohammad Jabedur Rahman, and Professor Towfiqul Islam. ARD Chief Advisor Siddiqur Rahman Rezvi presided over the function.
