Dhaka: An inter-ministerial meeting was held today to finalize the action plan for launching the ‘family card’ initiative, aligning with the election pledge of the BNP government. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman presided over the meeting, which took place at the Cabinet Division conference room in the Bangladesh Secretariat this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was attended by ministers and state ministers from the concerned ministries. The focus of the meeting was to integrate planning in agriculture, fisheries, and livestock sectors to bolster the country’s economy. The ‘family card’ initiative is a key part of this strategy, aiming to provide comprehensive support to families engaged in these sectors.
