Sirajganj:Three major infrastructure development projects were inaugurated today, marking significant progress in enhancing connectivity, public services, and regional development in the area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the projects were initiated by Rumana Mahmud, the district BNP president and former lawmaker, who laid the foundation stones for these developments.
In the morning, Rumana Mahmud laid the foundation stone for a new building of Abhijatri Sangsad at Hosenpur Mohalla, with backing from the Abdus Sattar Foundation. She also inaugurated the development work of the playground at Islamia Government College and launched the construction of a boundary wall for the college.
A doa and prayer session was conducted following the foundation-laying ceremonies, led by Hafez Maulana Md Nur Nabi Hossaini, member secretary of the Sirajganj District Olama Dal, seeking the welfare of the country and its people.
The events were attended by Sirajganj District BNP vice-presidents VP Amar Krishna Das and K.M. Rakibul Hasan Ratan, senior joint secretary VP Shamim Khan, joint secretary Mostafa Noman Alal, Daily Jamunar Katha editor and publisher and Sirajganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry director Abdus Sattar, and District BNP office secretary Tanvir Mahmud Palash, among others.
