Jamalpur: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel of Jamalpur 35 Battalion seized 95 bottles of Indian-made wine from a frontier area in the district last night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, acting on a tip-off, a BGB team conducted a raid in the Somnathpara area under Satanipara BOP of Bakshiganj upazila at around 11:30 pm and recovered the wine in an abandoned condition.
A case has been filed with Bakshiganj Police Station in this connection.
