IMF Resident Representative Engages in Discussion with BNP Leaders

Gulshan: The Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Jayendu De, met with senior leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was held at 4:10 pm at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan. Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, confirmed the details of the meeting.



Representing the BNP at the meeting were Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, and Organising Secretary and Special Adviser to the Party’s Chairperson on Foreign Affairs, Shama Obaid. The discussions highlighted the ongoing engagements between the IMF and the BNP leadership.
