Cumilla: The upazila administration has demolished illegal structures on both sides of the Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Chauddagram upazila in the district today. Chauddagram Upazila Executive Magistrate and Executive Officer Md Jamal Hossain led the operation in the Chauddagram Bazar area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, army, police, and highway police personnel were present during the operation. The illegal structures, including shops, were constructed by occupying the land of the Roads and Highways Department along the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Chauddagram Bazar of the upazila.
