IGP reserves high praise for Police Staff College

Mentioning that the Police Staff College is the apex training institute of Bangladesh Police, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun has said it has been conducting various types of training at national, regional and international levels very efficiently.

The IGP said this at the inaugural function of the 7th batch of Masters of Applied Criminology and Police Management course at Police Staff College Bangladesh (PSC) on Saturday afternoon.

He said that currently there has been a great change in the type and nature of the crime. The Masters of Applied Criminology and Police Management course will play an important role to enhance the skills of police officers as well as other professionals in dealing with this multidimensional crime.

Fifty students have been admitted in the 7th batch of Masters of Applied Criminology and Police Management course under the National University. Among the students are officers of various government and private institutions including the police.

Rector of Police Staff College Bangladesh Dr. Mallick Faqrul Islam presided over the event while Prof. Dr. Md Mashiur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of National University, was the special guest.
