Dhaka: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Islamic University (IU) branch has officially announced its executive committee for the 2025-26 session, along with the new committees for the IEEE Computer Society and IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, an official notice revealed that Burhan Joy has been appointed as the Chairperson and S.M. Sajjad Hossain Soykot as the Secretary of the branch. A 33-member executive body has been formed under their leadership to guide the branch’s activities.
The IEEE Computer Society IU Student Chapter has also formed a new 15-member committee, led by Chairperson Md. Shahjada Sajid and Secretary Md. Julfikar Ali. This new leadership team is expected to drive the chapter’s initiatives for the coming session.
Similarly, the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) IU Student Chapter has announced a 16-member executive body. The chapter will be led by Chairperson Md. Yeakub Ali and Secretary Tahmid Islam Akib, who will oversee the society’s activities and projects.
