Dhaka: On the occasion of the Great Victory Day, the Bangladesh Army today conferred honorary commissions on a number of its personnel in recognition of their service.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, as part of the move, 17 Honorary Lieutenants were promoted to the rank of Honorary Captain, while 33 Master Warrant Officers were granted honorary commissions as Honorary Lieutenants, with effect from December 16, 2025.
The honorary promotions were bestowed to acknowledge their long and dedicated service to the Bangladesh Army.
