Dhaka: The Ministry of Home Affairs has established a Law and Order Coordination Cell as part of its preparation for the forthcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the initiative was officially announced in a statement signed by Faisal Hasan, Public Relations Officer (Director) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The primary objective of the cell is to manage and coordinate responses to any law and order issues that may arise during the election period.
The statement provided several emergency contact numbers for the public to report any concerns related to law and order during the elections. The landline numbers are 02-47118700, 02-47118701, 02-47118702, and 02-47118703. Additionally, mobile numbers 01550-064226 (WhatsApp) and 01550-064227 have been made available for easier access.
The Ministry has urged citizens to utilize these contact numbers to lodge complaints and report incidents, ensuring a swift response to maintain order during the crucial election period.
