Munshiganj: Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan today assured that law enforcement agencies and the local administration are working with integrity to ensure the smooth celebrations of Sharadiya Durga Puja. “The law enforcing agencies and local administration remain alert to tackle any obstacle so that Durga Puja is held peacefully,” he stated.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser made these remarks to journalists after visiting the Sri Sri Joykalimata temple puja mandap this afternoon. Adilur highlighted that the Hindu community is celebrating the Puja in a friendly environment, with students and local people extending their support to make the festival peaceful. “We are trying to ensure that people of all faiths can perform their religious practices peacefully,” he added.
Present at the occasion were Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen, Munshiganj Deputy Commissioner Fatema-tul Jannat, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Mosaberul Islam, among others.
