Helicopter makes emergency landing in Dhading

A helicopter carrying a patient en route to Kathmandu from Pokhara made an emergency landing at Dhading district today due to bad weather. The helicopter carrying a patient from Manipal Hospital made a safe landing at Aathkilo of Thakre rural municipality-7 in Dhading district after a heavy rainfall. The helicopter operated by Kailash Services with call sign 9 N-A.M.L made an emergency landing at a bare land. An asthma patient was on board the helicopter, according to Yubaraj Khatiwada, ward chairperson of Thakre rural municipality-7 in the district. District Police Office, Dhading's DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra said that they were reported of the pilot landing the helicopter in a safe place after gauging the risk of flying further due to adverse weather.
