Convener of the Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) Peace Accord Implementation Committee Abul Hasanat Abdullah today said healthy, strong and talented children are the future of the country.
"Social, voluntary organizations can help the government in developing the children's latent talent," he told a views-exchange meeting with various child and adolescent organizations at his residence in Barisal as the chief guest, an official release said today.
Hasanat said the government is arranging various sports competition and cultural activities for the young generation in remote areas of the country.
He urged the local children to involve them in various sports, literature and cultural activities to develop their latent talent.
Agailjhara Upazila Parishad Chairman along with local leaders were present at the meeting.
