Hazaribagh: Police on Wednesday arrested 25 people in separate special drives conducted by Hazaribagh and Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police stations under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), targeting crime-prone areas in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Hazaribagh Police carried out a special operation on Wednesday in various crime-prone areas of the police station, resulting in the arrest of 15 individuals for their alleged involvement in criminal activities.
Meanwhile, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police executed a similar operation on the same day, apprehending 10 individuals from different crime-prone areas within its jurisdiction.
Police reported that those arrested include individuals accused in regular and warrant cases, as well as those allegedly involved in various offences. All arrested persons have been presented before the competent court, police added.
