Hadi Murder Case: Foysal’s Wife, Two Others Put in Fresh Remand

Dhaka: A Dhaka court today again granted a four-day remand for three people, including Shaheda Parvin Samia, wife of main accused Foysal Karim Masud alias Rahul Daud, in connection with the murder of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi. The other two accused are Wahid Ahmed, Samia’s brother, and Maria Akter Lima. The accused were produced before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Siddique Azad, who approved the four-day remand following a plea from the investigating officer of the case filed in this connection.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the incident occurred on December 12, when assailants opened fire on Hadi on Box Culvert Road under Paltan Thana. The case was filed on December 14 by Inqilab Moncho Secretary Abdullah Al Jaber.
