According to United News of Bangladesh, a total of 93,158 candidates registered for the ‘B’ unit admission test this year, with 9,133 of them registering for the IU centre. However, only 7,929 candidates appeared for the entry test at the IU centre. The examination took place over a one-hour period from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, utilizing seven buildings on the university campus.
To facilitate the examinees, seat plan banners and directional signs were strategically placed across the campus. Members of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) and Rover Scouts played a supporting role by assisting candidates throughout the process. Access to the campus was restricted, allowing candidates to enter only through the main gate, while arrangements for guardians were made at the Thana Gate and nearby areas by various student organisations.
The university authorities reported that the test was concluded without any major irregularities. IU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the examination, noting that it was held in a peaceful and orderly manner with satisfactory attendance.
