Dhaka: Graffiti painting styled 'Revisiting the Fascist Regime' is in progress in the city based on the idea of LGRD and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, who is also an adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, mentioned the graffiti painting in a post on his verified Facebook account. The post details that the graffiti, which highlights stories from the fascist regime, is being painted on the metro rail pillars stretching from Karwan Bazar to Farmgate. This initiative is being undertaken by the local government division, inspired by the idea of Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain.
The artwork aims to depict the stories that led the people of this country toward a mass uprising. Dhaka North City Corporation is responsible for implementing this graffiti project. Additionally, various events are scheduled throughout the month to commemorate the mass uprising.
