Govt working to flourish cultural activities: Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser

Prime Minister's Education and Cultural Affairs Adviser Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser today said the present government under the dynamic leadership of Sheikh Hasina has implemented many programs to flourish cultural and literary activities. "A literary and cultural-friendly atmosphere has been created in the country during the regime of present government, led by the Premier," he told a discussion meeting here. The programme was held at Soilajaranjan cultural center at village Baham under Mohanganj upazila of the district. Soilajaranjan cultural center organized the meeting marking the 163rd birth anniversary of Bishwa Kobi Rabindranath Tagore. Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Civil Aviation and Tourism and also president of the trustee board of Soilajaranjan Cultural Centre Welfare Trust Sajjadul Hasan, MP, presided over the meeting. It was addressed, among others, by Vice-canceller of Sheikh Hasina University Professor Dr. Golam Kabir, valiant freedom fighter and Ekusey award recipient journ alist Ajoy Das Gupta, president of Jatiya Rabindra Sanggit Sammilon Parishad, Mymensingh unit, Professor Dr. Mohammad Monjurul Alam, Deputy Commissioner Shahed Parvez and Police Super Mohammad Foyaz Ahmed.
