Rangpur: The present government is working relentlessly to reach the healthcare services at the peoples’ doorsteps across the country. The people will soon get the benefits of this effort. Additional Secretary of the Health Services Division Md Huzur Ali told local journalists this after visiting various wards and units of Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Saturday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Ali highlighted that Rangpur Medical College Hospital, like some other medical college hospitals, is not yet fully developed. He emphasized that if the government’s ongoing healthcare development programs are implemented soon, there will be positive changes in the health services in the Rangpur region.
Ali stated that such inspections will continue to complete the ongoing development work quickly. He also addressed various issues including syndicates, brokers’ circles, and employee crisis at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
During the visit, the hospital’s Director Brigadier General Md Ashiqur Rahman, Rangpur Medical College Associate Professor Dr. Md Zahid Hasan Basunia, Deputy Director Dr. Md Abdul Mokaddem, Assistant Director Dr. Mohammad Mejbahul Hasan Chowdhury, Assistant Director (administration) Dr. Kaniz Sabiha, and other concerned officials were present.
