State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian has said the government is working tirelessly for wellbeing of the people.
"Huge development activities are being implemented across the country during the Awami League government regime side by side social safety net activities, she said while distributing financial assistance among the poor and distressed people at the KCC's no-2 Ward AL office on Wednesday.
Khulna city mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque was present as the special guest.
Khulna City Corporation (KCC) unit Ward no-2 AL office organised the function with Ward no-2 AL unit president Sheikh Shahabuddin Ahmed in the chair.
City, thana and ward units of AL leaders addressed the function.
