Bangladesh Tarikat Federation today urged the government to take action against BNP as the party is now being engaged in different anti-state activities home and abroad.
Bangladesh Tarikat Federation lawmaker Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbandary of Chattogram-2 came up with this demand while addressing under section 300 of the rules of procedure of the parliament at the Jatiya Sangsad here this morning.
“We think that the government should take action quickly against BNP after filing seditious cases as the party is now being involved in different anti-state activities home and abroad,” he told the parliament.
At the same time, the government should cancel the registration of Bangladesh Jamaat –e-Islami as the people throughout the country has made the demand.
