Khagrachari: The government has ‘permanently terminated’ Khagrachari Hill District Council Chairman Ziruna Tripura from his position, as stated by the Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the ministry’s statement explained that Tripura had abstained from discharging his responsibilities. The removal order was issued under Section 12(1) of the Khagrachari Hill District Council Act, 1989.
