Govt Pledges to Tackle Social Crimes for a Livable Bangladesh: Saimum Parvez

Chapainawabganj: Dr. Md. Saimum Parvez, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Environment, Forest and Climate Change, announced today the government’s commitment to creating a livable Bangladesh by addressing social crimes such as terrorism, extortion, and corruption.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Saimum Parvez expressed these views while speaking as the chief guest at a meeting held at Shibganj Government Model High School’s premises. The meeting was organized by BNP and its affiliated and associate organizations, with Upazila BNP Convener Alhaj Md Ashraful Haque presiding over the event.



Saimum Parvez highlighted that the BNP has consistently worked for the people’s welfare and is focused on development-oriented politics. He also called for cooperation from all sectors to realize the vision of transforming Bangladesh into a peaceful and prosperous nation.



The event was coordinated by Shibganj Municipal Jubo Dal Joint Convener Prof. Abul Basar and Upazila Jubo Dal Joint Convener Md Shariful Islam Shimul. Other notable speakers included Municipal BNP Convener Alhaj Shafiqur Islam, Upazila BNP Member Secretary Md Tosiqul Alam, Municipal BNP Member Secretary Alamgir Kabir Jewel, and Senior Joint Convener of Upazila Jubo Dal Ali Ahmed Babu. Leaders and activists from BNP and its affiliated groups at various administrative levels also attended the meeting.
