Dhaka: The government has announced the nomination of six deputy secretaries for the Advanced Course on Administration and Development (ACAD). This announcement marks a significant step in the professional development of these officials, as they prepare to undertake higher-level training.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the ACAD training program is set to commence on 22 February at the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) and will run until 22 April, 2026. The program offers both residential and non-residential options to the participants. A notification issued by the public administration ministry, signed by Deputy Secretary Hasan Mortaza Masum, detailed these arrangements.

The nominated candidates are instructed to report at 5pm on 21 February at BPATC, Savar, or at a time specified by BPATC. Additionally, the notification advises the candidates to contact Dr Mohammad Rezaul Karim, the course director, for further information.

Moreover, the notification stipulates that the candidates must complete their online registration through BPATC’s official website (www.bpatc.gov.bd) by 5pm on 20 February, 2026. This step is crucial to ensure their participation in the training program.
