Dhaka: Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana emphasized the importance of government employees working towards fulfilling the aspirations of the public. She made these remarks during a meeting with officials and employees of the Mass Communication Department (MCD) held at Tathya Bhaban.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Secretary Farjana highlighted the significant expectations that the public holds for government employees. She stressed that it is essential for every government employee to perform their duties with sincerity and honesty to meet these expectations.
The meeting was attended by key figures including MCD Director General Akthar Hossain, Director General of the Department of Films and Publications Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin, Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Films Certification Board Md Abdul Jalil, and Managing Director of the Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust Muhammad Abdullah, among others.
Prior to the meeting, the information secretary also visited the office
of the Bangladesh Film Certification Board, underscoring the importance of effective communication and alignment within different government departments.
