Govt Employees Urged to Enhance Legal Knowledge for Administrative Stability

Rajshahi: Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana emphasized the importance of government employees understanding laws to consolidate the administrative foundations of the state. She addressed a virtual training workshop titled ‘Supportive Laws for Conducting Cases, Techniques of Writing SF (Statement of Facts), and Responsibilities’ as the chief guest.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organized the workshop at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, where officials from eight districts in the Rajshahi division participated. Secretary Mahbuba Farjana highlighted that a fundamental objective of laws is to maintain peace and order in society. She stated that knowing the laws is crucial for distinguishing legitimate demands and making informed decisions.



The Info Secretary further explained that legal knowledge enables individuals and institutions to make correct decisions and avoid mistakes, contributing to societal stability. She urged government employees to perform their duties within a legal framework to enhance the dignity of the government and establish justice in society.



Emphasizing the timely application of legal provisions, Mahbuba Farjana mentioned that laws are time-sensitive, and failing to present the correct legal provisions at the right time can lead to complications. She encouraged the participating officials to execute their duties with sincerity and honesty to reduce pending cases against them.



Additionally, the Secretary called for information officers to work innovatively and coordinate with district administration for better efficiency. DC Afia Akhter also addressed the workshop as a special guest.
